Turrets only root on tiles you own. Contested ground wastes scrap — finish the claim, then spend.

3. Drop guns on the tile
One turret covers a lane; a cluster turns a hex into a no-fly zone. Place with a wingmate so you are not alone when the timer starts.

4. Survive the recontest
Enemy fleets peel painted hexes. Keep a Bastion on the tile, rotate Interceptors on the approach, and let the guns finish the overextenders.
