1. Inside the play buttons
DOMINATION, FREE FOR ALL and TEAM CLASH each carry an AI BOTS switch. It starts OFF, and one setting covers all three.

Jev bots in Domination, on by default.
CLASHROIDS has an AI BOTS switch on its three play buttons. Turn it on and you get a room with Jev bots, model-driven pilots that pick their own task and target. The switch starts OFF. Since v0.93.0, servers that run Jev enable it in Domination by default, next to Free for All and Team Clash. Free in the browser. Steam Coming Soon (app 4296990).

How the switch works
Gamepad
2. X to toggle
Focus a play button and press X to flip its AI BOTS switch. Full map on gamepad.
Matchmaking
3. Separate rooms
Classic rooms and AI rooms are matched separately for each mode. Joining a friend by invite uses that room's own setting. invite
No AI on server
4. Dimmed switch
If the server you would join cannot run Jev in that mode, the switch is dimmed and shown OFF, a press shows "NO AI ON SERVER", and PLAY starts a classic room.
What Jev bots do
- » Each AI room has model bots named Jev One and Jev Two, not random callsigns.
- » Jev picks the bot's strategic task and target. Taunts, damage and pings do not hand strategy back to the classic bot logic.
- » In Domination, Jev bots decide for themselves whether to capture a sector, contest one, or defend a zone.
